The big reveal is the metal card. Unfortunately it doesn’t present a metal likeness in this image. We can only hope it looks way better in person.
PSA Doesn’t Give the One Ring a 10
While everyone around the world has been searching for a single card from Magic: The Gathering in their Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle Earth set, one person has quietly submitted this one card to PSA for grading.
And for a single card, you would assume it would a perfect mint 10. We have all seen how generous PSA can be with their grading regardless.
But when it comes to the 1/1 “The One Ring” card, PSA grade it as a 9.
I can only imagine this card was handled with as much care and respect as a newborn baby that shits gold.
We will never know who messed up. The printing facility, PSA, or even the unknown individual who pulled it.
This may just be the most expensive PSA 9 money can buy.

As we saw in the start of the week, this set as a whole has risen due to the many waifu cards in it.
A huge jump at the end of last year, but leveling out in this year. The waifu tax may not have been applied yet.
