More “Pokemon Trading Card Game Classic” cards revealed
If you haven’t heard; this premium box set will release in late 2023! The product will contain three 60-card decks headlined by Base Set Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. Each of the decks will contain new and reprinted cards. The cards will feature a unique holofoil pattern.

I, for one, will definitely be picking up one of these collections. This is quite obviously heavily geared to people who want to relive the classic game (as close as it will be as a reprint in this day and age), or towards the people who attempted playing it as a kid and had no idea what the energy cards do and are now interested in actually learning the rules. I am the latter.
Paldea Evolved English cards revealed
TPCi’s UK branch has sent out card images to European gaming outlets including CoupleofGaming, Dice Breaker, Gaming Bible, IGN Nordic, LetsGoTry, Mayplaystv, and Serebii.
Paldea Evolved will feature a combination of the cards from Japan’s Triplet Beat, Snow Hazard & Clay Burst, and the “Pikachu ex Starter Deck.”

A special feature every day!
Umbreon from 2001’s Neo Discovery
Umbreon 13/75 - Illus. Kimiya Masago
This dark critter had a bit of an… ugly… looking start to its TCG career. Don’t get me wrong, it still looks kinda cool, but definitely nowhere near as cute as it looks today.
Pricing stats:
We can safely ignore the 1st edition price as they don’t get sold as often through tcgplayer, but the unlimited seems to be climbing steadily. Probably thanks to its giant brother reaching for the moon.
Interest over the past 5 years:
Peaking at the height of the unnamed pandemic, and then slowly losing interest over the next couple of years. This is a common trend with most cards. This is still a very popular card for Umbreon as it was the first holofoil printed of our little goth friend.
That’s a wrap!
I hope you enjoyed the second edition of the newsletter. Try to guess what I have featured in tomorrow’s newsletter for Friday. Hint (or not really) it’s a bit of a stretch to get it to start with F.
Thanks for reading. Bye!
