Pokemon Card 151 Prices

Dive into what’s happening in Japan.

Dated from the 19th of June.

From these prices we can probably predict what will be hits and what will be duds.

If we look back at Iono from Paldea Evolved, she still held up in value but was nowhere near as crazy as the price she fetched for in her Japanese variant.

The same story could be said for Erika, however we may see Charizard take top place with Erika SIR right after.

Both Mew cards will be promo cards included with the 151 Ultra Premium Collection so they may see half that of their Japanese variants.

My prediction list for English version of these cards would be:

  1. Charizard SIR

  2. Erika SIR

  3. Zapdos SIR

  4. Blastoise SIR

  5. Venusaur SIR

  6. Mew SIR

  7. Erika FA

  8. Alakazam SIR

  9. Giovanni SIR

  10. Mew Gold

But we will see what happens.

Fire Lizard Friday

Today we look at the Vivid Voltage Charizard Staff Prerelease.

Charizard SWSH066 Illus. NC Empire

Crazy prices for a somewhat average looking card.

PSA total pop: 644

PSA 10 pop: 308

On the topic of Staff Zards, Team Up also had its own version:

Charizard SM158 Illus. Anesaki Dynamic

PSA total pop: 629

PSA 10 pop: 92

That is a true example of how the population count for a 10 can drastically change the price of a card.

Comparing the average price for a grade 9 for a Vivid Staff Zard is higher than the Team Up Staff Zard.

Comparing the average price for a grade 10 for a Vivid Staff Zard is lower than the Team Up Staff Zard.
