Starter Trio ex Cards

From the 151 set. Just.. look. Going in dex order.

I just love the style of the classic ex cards better than getting the perfect ratio of chip-to-guac in one bite. And my mum knows how much I like mexican food.

For those of you who actually like to play the TCG:

• Venusaur ex

Ability: Soothing Bloom
Once during your turn, if this Pokemon is in the Active Spot, you may heal 60 damage from 1 of your Pokemon.

[G][G][C] Potent Whip: 150 damage. Your opponent’s Active Pokemon is now Poisoned and Confused.

Pokemon ex rule: When your Pokemon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 4

• Charizard ex

[R] Resolute Wings: 60+ damage. If this Pokemon has any damage counters on it, this attack does 100 more damage.

[R][R][R][R] Detonating Vortex: 330 damage. Discard 3 Energy from this Pokemon.

Pokemon ex rule: When your Pokemon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weakness: Water (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

• Blastoise ex

Ability: Solid Shell
This Pokemon takes 30 less damage from attacks.

[W][W] Twin Cannons: 140x damage. Discard up to 2 Basic [W] Energy cards from your hand. This attack does 140 damage for each card discarded in this way.

Pokemon ex rule: When your Pokemon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 3

More Paldea Evolved cards revealed

They might be in el spanisho but this tells us what to expect in the upcoming set.

I still find it hard to believe there is a floating poop Pokemon. It started with floating magnets, then floating ice-cream. This was inevitable I guess?

Prices are based on a single booster pack. Saw a peak late last year, then dipped like my corn chip in the guac. Pretty cool set. Featuring the likes of Deoxys, the Lati duo, Professor Juniper, and more. Secret rares included Empoleon, Garchomp (🥵🥵) and another stinker, Garbodor.
