Record Numbers
The Pokemon Company released their worldwide sales data for fiscal year 2022/2023 (as of March 31, 2023), and they have sold 9.7 billion Pokemon cards.
In their lifetime total, they have sold over 52.9 billion cards.
All those cards. So much paper.
Makes you wonder.
Could we reach the moon with those yet?
Sealed Saturday
It’s Astral Radiance’s first birthday!
Why, yes, Anthony is my favourite set.
This set brings us alt arts featuring Machamp, Origin Dialga and Palkia, Beedrill and Hisuian Sneasler.
All good alt arts, but nothing compared to the likes of Evolving Skies, or even Fusion Strike.
How is it going for our little 1 year old?
For a booster box:
I mean, it’s not tanking.
But also it can’t be as bad as Rebel Clash.
How’s the Machamp?
I’m glad you asked. For curiosity’s sake.
Machamp V 172/189 Illus. Shinya Kamatsu
When we checked 5 days ago it was at $117.14.
1 month graph:
It’s gone down?!
But really, I don’t think it’s anything to fret about.
I hope our little set gains a bit of popularity. It’s one of those sets I thought would be cool, but nah.
Maybe in the future.
