Fire Lizard Friday
We have had 2 radiant Charizards release within a year.
One from Pokemon Go, the other from Crown Zenith.
If you had to pick one, which would be better?
Radiant Charizard 011/179 Illus. Shigenori Negishi
Pokemon Go as a set we know is not performing well at all.
Stores are slashing prices, value is going down and no one talks about the set anymore.
Even the radiant Charizard from this set can’t stay afloat.
Over to Crown Zenith:
Radiant Charizard 020/159 Illus. Kouki Saitou
Almost the same story with Crown Zenith. Except for one minor detail.
Stores are slashing prices, value is going down…
BUT
Everyone is still talking about Crown Zenith. People still buy it. It’s a great set to open.
Yes, it is overprinted but it is a fantastic set.
Therefore I believe the Crown Zenith Radiant Charizard is the better pick.
It might be low now, but later on it could go the opposite way.
Plus the illustration looks better.
